Why does my honey sometimes crystallize?
Crystallization is a natural process and a sign of raw, pure honey. It happens when glucose sugars form crystals. Simply warm the jar gently in a bowl of warm water not exceeding 40°C/105°F to return it to a liquid state without affecting quality.
What is pollen, and why do you sell it?
Pollen is a natural bee-collected nutrient rich in vitamins, minerals, and antioxidants. Our pollen is harvested responsibly and makes a great natural supplement to support health and wellness.
Is your beeswax sustainable and safe?
Yes, our beeswax is harvested carefully from our hives without harming the bees. It’s natural, pure, and perfect for candles, balms, and other eco-friendly products.
How are your candles made?
Our candles are hand-poured using 100% pure beeswax from our own hives, combined with natural wicks for a clean, slow burn that’s both aromatic and environmentally friendly.
What makes your creamed honey different?
Our creamed honey is milled on a granite wheel for 12 hours, creating a smooth, velvety texture. This careful process preserves all the natural goodness of raw honey without any additives or preservatives, making it perfectly spreadable and delicious.
General
Is your honey raw and unpasteurized?
Yes, our honey is carefully harvested and processed without heating above 40°C/105°F to preserve its natural qualities. Instead of filtering, we strain the honey through a fine 180-micron sieve that removes debris while keeping all the pollen, enzymes, and nutrients intact in every jar.
Do you use treatments or medications on your bees?
We use organic management methods to keep our bees healthy, including treatments with oxalic acid and formic acid. These are natural organic acids found in the environment and plants, not synthetic chemicals. Our approach supports bee health while respecting natural processes and avoiding harsh medications.
